Cultural Arts Council Douglasville | Douglas County
Celebrate this Black History Month by visiting the Cultural Arts Council Douglasville/Douglas County (CAC) and its "Notes of Inclusion" exhibit. This exhibit displays the art of four African-American artists featuring styles conducive to the theme of inclusivity. Check-in at the CAC and take a selfie near the exhibit.

Simeon Springer, an African-American farmer, sold his land that the Douglas County Courthouse sits on today. A photo and other artifacts from Mr. Springer's history are displayed at the Douglas County Museum of History and Art. Check-in at the museum and take a selfie near Mr. Springer's exhibit.

Team USA member Elana Meyers Taylor is a Douglas County native! Elana is a 3x Olympic Medalist and 2x World Champion in women's bobsled!
